Sports Leaders Event

On Monday 9th January, our amazing Level 1 and 2 Sports Leaders delivered a large-scale 'Kent School Games' Indoor Athletics event at the Stour Centre. The day involved over 20 local primary schools, with 700 children participating in a fast-paced, fun indoor athletic event.

The Homewood Sports Leaders modelled and led the track and field events, timed, kept scores, recorded data and generally managed the entire event with each student taking on individual roles and responsibilities.

We received amazing feedback from school teachers and the organisers who commented on our students’ impeccable behaviour, organisation and their encouragement of the younger children. Well done to all involved.
