On Thursday 11th December Geoff Cox, Top Model Operations Director and Show Producer for Top Model, and Destiny Sedlacek, winner of Top Model UK 2014 Editorial Category visited Homewood School for discussions about a future fashion show being held at the school next Summer, in aid of the charity Kent Air Ambulance.
4 Homewood students Mollie M Year 9, Mollie S Year 9, Stephanie 6th Form and Alesha 6th Form presented a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style pitch where they made a bid for this exciting opportunity by showcasing the great facilities the school has to offer, as well as the great opportunities for students.
Due to the students’ professional presentations and enthusiasm, Homewood is proud to announce we have been chosen to hold this special event that will take place on Saturday 4th July 2014. Manager Geoff Cox says, ‘Top Model has to be very selective when choosing community projects and we are very much looking forward to working with Homewood over the coming months.’ He also added, ‘It was a pleasure to meet students and both myself and Destiny were very impressed by their attitude to the project.’
This is an amazing opportunity for so many Homewood students to show their professional skills, as well involving the local and wider community. Fittingly, the Fashion Show’s charity beneficiary, the Kent Air Ambulance is celebrating its 25th Anniversary and Homewood is proud to be working with them. We look forward to sharing the progression of this exciting event in the near future.
