Steven Camden will be visiting Homewood Library on Monday 30th October 2017 to work with our Year 13 Creative Writing students.
On Monday 26th June, Homewood School Library celebrated the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone.
On the 20th-21st March the library welcomed author Robert Crowther for a 2 day workshop with all Year 8 students. During these 2 days, Robert demonstrated different pop-up techniques which would help the students to create their own pop-up books on World War I trenches.
On Monday 27th March John Young, BCC News Reader and journalist, visited Homewood School Library to work with Key Stage 3 students.
Pop-up author Robert Crowther will be visiting Homewood School Library on the 20th and 21st March to hold a workshop with all Year 8 students.
Author Nicky Singer will be visiting Homewood School Library on Thursday 1st December to hold a Creative Writing Workshop with Sixth Form students.
BBC News Reader John Young will be visiting Homewood School Library in May. He will be working with a group of Media Studies students in the morning and after lunch will hold a Newsroom Bootcamp workshop with Year 7 and 8 students where they will be looking at the impact of news and what makes great news headlines!
